Whitney, I’ve known you for a lot of years but never knew of your struggle and so sorry that you had to deal with that. I wish I was able to go back in time to try to help encourage you as this was happening. The great news is that I know your story is going to help other young women who might be dealing with similar things you did to help encourage them. Thank you so much for being so transparent and vulnerable to share some not so easy things from your past. I also loved what you said about being most fulfilled in life by staying closer to God! I too have seen that in my own life.

A familiar story. My prayer for you is that you realize that you didn’t chose anorexia any more than your roommate chose Leukemia, it chose you. More and more research points to genetics, biology, and neurology, in addition to environmental and psychological factors. Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings and Health.

This woman of 3 boys is an incredible testament of our struggle against our flesh. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. As a co-worker I can tell you her kindness, passion and drive inspire me. She is brave to share her struggle against the eating disorder she struggled with and how it fought for her significance. Whitney is a gifted precious person who desires to share her struggles so that someone else may see the hope in persevering in the midst of our pain. Proud of and love this woman.
